How to make a Glamorous Crystal Basket 2017/04/07

Today I’ll show you how to make a delicate crystal basket, dedicated to those who love small details, decidedly a very romantic party favor.

It could also be perfectly used as a rice holder during an elegant wedding

Materials

Safety pins
Small beads
Fine and firm wire
Cutting pliers

We start by mounting the safety pins in the wire making sure they all open on the same side, alternate one safety pin with one bead, 12 safety pins in total, and we close with the pliers

We open the safety pins one by one, insert the beads and close

Now we insert the wire in the upper hole of the safety pin and alternate one safety pin with two beads, close the wire with the pliers (if the safety pin doesn’t have a hole, with a thread tie up the pin to the wire)

We tie up a 12 cm wire on one side of the basket, we insert the beads and tie the wire on the opposite side

Here is our finished basket

I recommend you get safety pins with holes in the upper part, this way the wire goes through there and stays there without needing to tie it with a thread
