How to make felt candies, DIY 2017/12/01

Today we will create Felt Candies, very easy to make and a very good idea for doing it in our children’s company.

Materials

White and red felt
Bamboo sticks
Cellophane bags
Gift ribbons
Pins and scissors

Cut felt strips of 38 cm long by 1 cm wide, the red slightly bigger than the white one.

Here you must adjust the candy’s measurement according with the cellophane bag measurements you have.

Start rolling both felt strips, leaving the red one in the external side as it is the most colorful one.

With the help of the pins, we hold the roll we have formed so it doesn’t unroll

We start to insert the stick with a backwards – forwards movement, without twisting it so we don’t tear the felt

We insert the stick to almost come out through the other end, we carefully cut the tip

We bag the candies and close with a gift ribbon bow

With these candies we can create garlands, decorate crowns or use them as Christmas tree decorations
