Easter Bunnies... 3 ideas 2015/03/28

The good times have come and with it Easter arrives also and the environment fills with eggs!

Easter is one of my favorite holidays, overall because of all the beautiful colors that accompany this party (and let’s be honest, the chocolate also has its part!) And today I want to leave you these projects to enjoy… it will be very fun for the children to.

Easter Bunny

To make an Easter bunny we need:

  • A piece of white felt
  • A piece of flesh colored felt
  • A piece of pink felt
  • Pink ribbon
  • Little eyes

With the model, that you will find next, cut the shape of the bunny’s body with the white felt, sew a line like the one you see on the template, then fold the upper part towards the line you made and sew again, this “duct” works to pass the ribbon through.

Cut 4 ears if the felt is to light, double the ears are needed to keep them firm. Instead, if the felt is thick 2 ears are enough. Then with the flesh colored felt cut the two inside pieces of the ears and paste with hot silicone to the white ears.

Then sew the ears to the body of the bunny using the line you previously sewed as a base.

Fold the body to give it the shape of a bag and sew, finish cutting the parts to finish your bunny (nose, teeth, etc.) you can decorate it as you wish and fill it with chocolates or the candies you like the most.

Playful bunnies

To prepare a snack that children will love, you will need:

  • 3 types of yogurt (strawberry, peach, berries)
  • Whipped cream
  • Color sprinkles
  • Sugar bunnies

In a glass put a layer of peach yogurt, then on top some whipped cream, then the berry yogurt and another layer of whipped cream, put another layer of strawberry yogurt and finish with a layer of whipped cream, add some color sprinkles and sugar bunnies

To make a healthier snack instead of sprinkles you can add chopped up fruit. Here it is! A delicious snack perfect for Easter!

Ear headband

To enter even more into the “Easter atmosphere”, just make a pair of very special eats and to make them we need:

  • A piece of felt
  • A headband
  • Ribbon in the color you want
  • Hot silicone
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • Acrylic paint

On top of the white felt, draw the ears on the size you like the most and cut them. With a little bit of hot silicone paste to the headband, place a bow of the color you want and with the paint color the ears.

And the headband is ready and beautiful for Easter!
