How to Make Bouquets from Wheat Spikes 2016/05/27

Today we are going to make an arrangement formed by wheat spikes.

Take note to beautify your event or reunion

Materials

  • Wheat spikes (120 spikes per bouquet)
  • A variety of ribbons
  • Scissors
  • Pins
  • Silicone

You can collect the wheat even if it still is a little green or wait until they get that golden color

I’ve made the bouquets with a number of spikes that fit in one hand

For the first proposal I’ve wrapped the wheat with brown ribbon and then decorated it with an organza bow.

I’ve completed the decoration with a silk rose, in this case combined with the wheat spikes, you can do it according to your event’s color

To create a more elegant arrangement, we will use white colored materials, first we wrap the bouquet with tulle to give it a translucent background, then we wrap with a thick satin ribbon

We can help ourselves with pins to keep the ribbon firm as we make some stitches or well use silicone

Another idea is to wrap the bouquet with an organza ribbon and stick small flower bouquets

One rustic decoration would be with cotton fabric and ribbons

We can decorate with the bouquets in horizontal position

Or we can open the bouquet and this is achieved if we throw the spikes in one spot only

You just need to choose which decoration adapts the best to your event

Complete the decoration with the Wine and Bread Kit customizable and available in our store

Pleasure to make your party special
