Nail art. Chic nails for Saint Patrick’s Day 12/03/2014

What is St. Patrick’s Day?

It is a Christian origin party, which is celebrated on the 17th of March each year in honor to Saint Patrick, Ireland’s patron saint.

The largest and most characteristic festivals outside of Ireland are celebrated in cities and nations that house a strong Irish component, like the United States.

Today the Saint Patrick’s Day party is celebrated almost everywhere in the world and not just in Irish communities. The celebrations are generally in pubs, restaurants that offer beer and it is also typical to wear green clothes, like hats, necklaces, shirts, etc.

On this day it is also talked about “the luck of the Irish”, children celebrate by eating cookies or green candies and the story of this saint is told.

A beautiful idea to celebrate this idea is to decorate our nails inspired on “Saint Patrick”, obviously we will use green, which is the main color of the celebration, a little gold and also some shine (which is never extra) to decorate our nails.

I leave you the video on how to do it step by step, which is also very original.

The materials we will use are these:

  • * Green nail polish
  • * Gold nail polish
  • * Glitter
  • * Gold paper (any piece of golden paper)
