What to answer to the question: Does Santa Claus really exist? 2019/12/12

The moment came when my daughter asked me : "Mom, does Santa Claus really exist?"

There comes an age in which Santa Claus’s tale starts to wobble and children begin to ask themselves how does one person alone make the trip around the world in one night carrying millions of presents in one sack... and flying on a slay carried by reindeers...

I knew the moment will come and I won’t hide that my hands were shaking...

It wasn’t easy revealing the truth to my daughter, when just a while ago I was telling her I had his personal number to warn him if she misbehaved and didn’t deserve the presents!

It’s very probable that the hope, the wish and good intentions of your child turn into disillusion, failure and anger by your answer!

So, I answered that Santa Claus is an extraordinary magic... the words came out of mouth alone and looking at the interest and curiosity in the eyes of my daughter, I found the courage to carry on... Santa Claus is an enchantment capable of fascinating everyone.

Elves, the toy factory... it’s all part of an extraordinary project, a magical team which includes mom and dad putting presents under the tree, like grandparents used to do for us and like one day you will do for your children

Santa Claus is a little trick that’s told to enjoy your children on Christmas morning, to read the joy on their little faces and see the surprise of getting what they so much wanted!

Santa is friends with every child, even if you can’t see him. And it is precisely because of this reason that Santa Claus is a teacher that teaches us to believe and trust even in that which we really can’t see, hear or touch, but it exists, like trust, friendship, love and the capability of believing in oneself.

Santa Claus is the joy that lights up the most waited for night of the year and fills the hearts of all of those who believed his fantastic mystery.

For generations, each child who has grown up continues transmitting Santa Claus’s magic to their children, because this is how it should be...

And now you too, my little one, are a little older because you know the secret and are part of his extraordinary team.
