Recipe to make Marbled Hard Boiled Eggs 2017/04/13

 

Hello! Today I’ll show you a decorative recipe to delight and make your guests happy and overall, to surprise the children: Marbled eggs!

Once cut, they can be used as appetizers or as a second course accompanied by a salad

Ingredients and accessories

  • Eggs – according to the amount of guests
  • Food colorings – I’ve used powder food coloring, but liquid or gel are also fine
  • Pot
  • Spoon

We start by putting water to a boil in a pot

Once it starts boiling, we place the eggs softly in the water and add the food coloring. From this point we calculate 7 to 8 minutes of cooking

With the spoon we give light taps to the eggshells to create small cracks. Let the eggs boil in the colored water for a couple more minutes

Complete cooking of the egg is between 9 to 10 minutes

Now immerse the eggs in cold water

It will be easier to remove the eggshells!

Prepare more eggs in other colors and remove the eggshells. In the following picture, look at the results we got!
