Puppy protective door, DIY 2018/04/24

This is how an everyday element participates in the party, but could also become a permanent protector of the home...

Materials

  • Fabrics in different colors and textures.
  • Ecological leather
  • 2 black beads for the eyes
  • 1 button for the collar
  • Threads, needles
  • Scissors, pins
  • Wadding or foam for the inside

Print the following diagram *; The length of the puppy will be defined according to the door.

Cut all the pieces of the model and sew them backwards. Like you saw, I formed the puppy’s head with synthetic leather and the body with a different fabric so it looks like the puppy is wearing a small dress for the cold.

For the nose, I took 1/4 of a circle: as you can see in the image, simply cut it and sew it before placing it on the dog’s nose.

With the body turned to the right sew by hand the ears, the nose and the eyes before filing it.

Cut the collar to size

To give form to the ears, I passed the zigzag stitch on its contour

Advice to place safety pins on both ends of the opening so it doesn’t break when the body is filled with cotton

Fill with foam or cotton and close with an invisible stitch.

I put a grey button on the neck!

Our puppy is quite ready to receive our guests.

It’s a pleasure to make your party special
