Felt bunny for party decorations. 2022/04/15

Hello, hello!

Today we are going to make a bunny to decorate your parties. It is a simple and fast to make design with which you can enhance and customize decorations made by yourself.

Materials:

  • Beige, pink and white felt
  • Beige and white thread
  • Wadding for filling
  • Needles
  • Scissors
  • UHU type glue or hot silicon

We start by downloading the pattern, the body, ears, arms and legs designs already include an assemble margin therefore this pattern is ideal and exclusive for felt figures.

We cut out the bunny’s pieces in their respective colors, some pieces are double (head and body) and other are just one piece (ears, arms and legs).

We embroider the eyes with black thread, we place the pattern over the head to help us locate the exact place where the eyes are situated.

Now we close the head and body and for the finish to be more delicate, we will use only one threat embroidering with scallop stitch, we insert the edges of the ears in the interior of the head and the extremities in the interior of the body as we saw all around the contours. Pieces like the nose and the cheeks are pasted with the UHU-like glue or hot silicon.

The bunny measures 14 cm when finished, with it you will be able to enhance your party decorations, it is really an ideal design for events with Easter, spring or woodland animals themes. 

Here is the free pattern, I have also included a larger bunny that the one shown in this tutorial.

    Se me da fatal todo lo que tenga que ver con aguja e hilo para coser o bordar a mano, otra cosa es que me defienda con la máquina de coser, eso sí disfruto mucho viendo este tipo de trabajos. Desde luego te ha quedado un conejito muy entrañable. Me parece de un gran mérito manejar con tal pericia piezas tan pequeñas. ¡Enhorabuena!
