Felt Baby Shark for Parties 2020/02/27

Do you have in sight a party inspired by marine themes? Well you will surely love this Baby Shark

Materials

• Felt in the following colors: blue and/or pink, white, black, red, different shades of green, orange, sand colors, celeste
• Waddle
• Black beads
• Googly eyes
• White, blue and/or pink threads
• Scissors and needle
• Cardboard (like a cereal box)
• UHU type glue

Print the Baby Shark pattern, it is 10 cm tall, you can make it bigger if you want to and also, this pattern works to also make the shape in foamy

Instructions: place the pattern on top of the cardboard and mark with a pen each one of the pieces and cut them, what we have obtained is a template that will facilitate the work of cutting the pieces and leaving them even, also, this process is very useful when you have to make more than 1 shape

Now cut each of the pieces in felt

Take the front part of the shark and on top of it sew the white piece using the ‘Festoon Stitch’, which is adequate for these types of works, do the same process with the mouth

The small pieces like the tongue, the bow tie and the eyes are preferably pasted with UHU type glue, use tweezers to make this process easier. I suggest the use of googly eyes to give the shark more life and movement, another way is to use the eyes from the mold.

Now it is left to sew the contouring of the shark, begin a little before one of its fins, look at the image, and lightly fill the tail and fins to not rip the felt apart

The little fish only require a front part, meaning only one piece since these will be pasted on the marine scenery backdrop. Look how I have used the small black beads for the eyes, just like some zigzag stitches to form the scales and decorate the tail

Decorate the containers or jars with these marine characters and decorate the Candy Table filling them with lollipops etc.

And if you still wish to, make a jar for each one of your guests and they will have a pencil holder as a party favor
